Movie Review: Precious - 2008

Precious is a 2008 drama directed by Lee Daniels, and it stars Gabourey Sidibe, Mo'Nique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz, and Sherri Shepherd. In 2009 this movie received six academy award nominations including best supporting actress for Mo'Nique, best actress for Gabourey Sidibe, best writing for an adapted screen play, best picture, and best film editing.
