O.T.R.H.: A Logic Named Joe
Welcome to Old Time Radio Highlights. Once a week I will be highlighting an episode of a classic radio show from the golden age of radio(1930's to 1960's).
This week I'm highlighting an episode from Dimension: X, a popular SciFi series that featured 30 minute short stories. The story in this episode is "A logic named Joe". This story is especially interesting because it predicts modern computers and the internet decades before the internet was invented. Dimension X aired from April 1950 to September 1951. A logic named Joe first aired on July 1st, 1951.
History geeks may also get a kick out of the first 30 seconds of this program. This episode of Dimension X aired during the early days of the Korean war, and the first 30 seconds are a news bullentin giving us the latest update from the front line.
